yes, the little fellow stood still for a while, giving me time to focus properly while handling a flashflight.

Hi David,
this is a rather heavy crop, I was standing about one meter from the beast. The FA 31 was the lens I had on the camera, perhaps something longer would have been better. I think the fellow was a bit annoyed by the dog's attentions, hence the evil eye.

I had a Limited 35 Macro with the symptoms you describe. I sent it to KEH, the lens was repaired to my satisfaction, cost $130.

From a recent trip to Toledo. DA 15mm HD. A couple of panos included, with likely lots of distortions present, but I still like the results. Processed with Lightroom 6.

Hi,

here are some experiments with a Lens Baby + K-3 this past Summer. The statues are located in the museum Centrale Montemartini in Rome, displayed in the unusual setting of an old power plant (see last picture for a partial view of one of the massive diesel engines). Shot as B&W in-camera jpegs, except last one (taken with DA-70 Limited).

Hi,

just joined the forum after a long time reading and learning from the posts here. I started in amateur photography about 30 years ago with Fuji and Pentax (P30) cameras. After my Nikon period in the 1990's (still own an F2 and F3, used occasionally if shooting film), and following my compact digital camera era (Canon, Panasonic), I returned to Pentax with a K-x a few years ago. Now using a K-3 with prime lenses. I look forward to improve my photographic skills as a member of this forum. All the best.
