Thanks for the offer, dmjjr, but I don't think I want to sell parts. I am in process of changing some prices though,
and the K-3 with extra stuff will be listed for less money if that is of any interest. ---------- Post added 12-19-20 at 12:21 AM ---------- New Prices in time for the weekend. Check it out. ---------- Post added 12-19-20 at 12:24 AM ----------
Thanks panoguy, appreciate it.

I have received an inquiry about policy on returning items. I will try to edit all my posts, including this one, to show the following:
"Contact me within 3 days of receiving the item if you feel it is not as described. Submit return to carrier within 5 days of receiving item.
Return using the same shipping method I used to send the item. BUYER PAYS RETURN SHIPPING."
I see that many listings do not offer any return options. So this policy seems fair.

Well this is a white flag sale of sorts. I am surrendering my great Pentax gear.
Sad day to have gotten so old, and unsteady, and foggy eyed!! Hope someone
else will love it all.
Please bear with me as I learn to navigate the posting and PM world. :o
Prices do not include shipping. Buyers pay shipping. I will charge only actual cost for your choice of available options.
I will pay the Paypal charges.
1. *SOLD* PENTAX K-3 $̶𝟺̶𝟻̶𝟶̶ $395.00 *SOLD*
Well cared for K3 with two batteries, charger, AC cord, flash, wireless shutter remote, O-ME53 magnifying eyecup.
I bought it new from Adorama. I have box and manual as well as original cd. No neck strap.
Camera has just under 16,500 shutter count. Firmware is version 1.40. All functions work well.
I can see a couple of small dust spots through viewfinder, but not on sensor. Not on images.
Flash is new, never mounted. Rear screen protector from day 1.
2. *SOLD* SMC PENTAX-DA* 300mm f4 [if] SDM $̶𝟽̶𝟸̶𝟻̶.̶𝟶̶𝟶̶ $695.00 *SOLD*
You already know about this lens. It is a good as advertised. I bought this copy from a user on the Forum a
few years ago in excellent shape and it is still the same. Super clean glass. Original pouch as well as a
semi-rigid padded case I have kept it in.
3. **SOLD** HD PENTAX-DA 1:2.8 35mm MACRO LIMITED $̶𝟹̶𝟹̶𝟶̶.̶𝟶̶𝟶̶ $295.00 *SOLD*
Bought used from Adorama in excellent condition. Still with nice clean glass and almost like new barrel.
Everything works just as intended. Still in OEM bag with felt-lined lens cap (plus generic pinch cap)
4. ** SOLD* SMC PENTAX-DA 1:4 12-24mm ED AL [IF] **SOLD** $175.00
Nice wide angle zoom. F4 aperture throughout the zoom range.
Very good condition. Comes with both caps and UV filter.
5. *SOLD* SIGMA DC 17-50MM 1:2.8 EX HSM $̶𝟷̶𝟽̶𝟻̶.̶𝟶̶𝟶̶ $160.00 *SOLD*
This is a nice constant aperture lens which has consistently gotten me great
shots without breaking the bank. It probably has a bit more use on it than the
other lenses on this page, but glass and mechanics are working like new. I am
sure you can find a little dust inside.....it is not new...but nothing I can find on
images even at post processing magnifications.
RETURNS:
Contact me within 3 days of receiving item if you feel it is not as described. Submit return to carrier within 5 days of
receiving item. Return using the same shipping method I used to send the item. BUYER PAYS RETURN SHIPPING.
I only ship to Canada, the lower 48 USA, and Alaska If shipping to Canada, buyer will have to deal with
and pay any customs/import charges.
I only accept PAYPAL.
Thanks for looking. More to come.

Thanks all for the welcome...and the help.
bertwert: Regarding the no Exif data issue: the two lenses which I think should for sure be recognized are
SMC PENTAX-DA1:1.8 50mm and a Pentax DA SMC 18-25Omm f3.5-6.3 ED AL. I guess I just thought it would be more like my Nikon, which
recognizes native lenses just by mounting them. I am stumped, though, with the K-3 because I can't find anything in the menu to set. All I find in
there is a couple of copyright options.
I do have the system working whereby I am prompted to enter focal length for any of the screw mounts. And I get same info from those that I get from
the two lenses above, except that I get actual FL from the zoom. How does one get lens maker and model into the data? Maybe I have to smarten up
my Wiindows 8.1 software?
jimr: I like the idea of choosing odd FL to enter for screw mounts, but the menu only offers set options as far as I can tell. And that setting is used to apply
degree of stabilization, right, so I figured I should not wander too far from real FL.
Oh well, I am leaving in the morning for Thanksgiving. I will of course take all the gear with me and see what I can figure out. Not the end of the world if I never
do get it....I can still take pictures.
Also: any good threads for finding out how to operate all the tricks on the forum?? I have not even figured out how to get an equipment list attached to my post so
that everyone has enough info to cure my ignorance. Thanks again.

Hello all;
I am rank amateur, so mercy please. I have been reading about how great the Pentax stabilization system is for shaky old
hands like mine, I am too cheap to buy good Nikon glass for my D7000, so I let Adorama put me in the Pentax corral with a
new K-3. Have a number of old M42 lenses so am looking to try them out. It is working....sort of....with help already from this
forum.
Trying to keep files identified by lens as I try them out is a pain since I have not figured out how to get lens ID info even on
the 2 modern Pentax lenses I have. Do I have to set up the camera to get that info saved in metadata?
Anyway, thanks and have mercy on the old guy.
