Great shots! I can second the caffenol. Mixing up an odd soup using health store and kitchen ingredients, hen getting well developed pictures is an amazing feeling.

From a recent camping trip. After a year of using it, I'm finally getting the hang of this great camera. Might sound like a while, but there are times when I don't shoot for months. To note, I did some editing out of people which may or may not look terrible, my PS skills aren't the greatest.

Quite likely. There are a couple more of the same species with various ripped wings that fly around. I don't know much about buttterflies, so I'm unsure what the species is. Thank you for commenting.

Thank you all for the kind comments. I actually wanted a K-5, but my hobbies budget doesn't quite allow for it. I'm an auto mechanic, so tools for that take precedence.
From reading reviews I thought the K10D would be too large, as I like the size of the DL, but it actually handles quite nicely.
So far I'm enjoying the camera, colors and handling. I'll be sure to visit the K10D club and share some of my future shots.

Recently bought a K10D off the Bay with two kit lenses. I'm not too impressed with the kit lenses, but the camera is definitely going to teach me a lot. It's a huge step up from my DL. Here's a couple shots I took around my house.

I bet after the first shot the bird looked due to camera noise. It certainly seems he's looking directly at the camera. Great shots.
