If you have more than one of the same Pentax, you can identify it in exif data by this method: just go to menu, copyright and input something unique about that camera. Such as the serial number or color, or a name if you 'name' your camera:). There is enough space in 'copyright' or 'photographer' so that you can still input your name & unique ID for your camera. When you open up the pic in windows 7, right click on 'properties' and the unique data that you set up for the camera will be there, making it easy to distinguish what camera you used. Hope this was helpful, or maybe some of you folks figured this out. I don't know if some other brands have this feature, but you can tell all your friends!

I've asked this question in the K-50 forum, and found my own answer: What I did was hook up a cable from the camera to the AV input of the flatscreen, (or probably any TV that would have AV inputs). I only used the V (yellow) port. The flatscreen acted like a giant monitor for movie mode; also showing the actual back info of the camera when in other modes, such as P, or other selections. When taking a still, the results are also shown for the instant on the 'monitor', just like the back info on your camera. In fact the back info of the camera is shown as a default, just like you would be looking at your camera. You may be limited as camera distance to the 'monitor', but it works! I didn't use the available USB connection that was part of my cables, just the yellow, V, input.

U1 for color extraction
U2 for toy camera
U3 not used as of yet
I like using these modes in a fast, must have situation, instead of having to apply at the time or search for the image to apply later.

Late for your answer, but I have a K10 and you would be very pleased what it can do for u. The most important thing is the lens, The 18-250 is a better choice, in case you want to get those long shots of some statue on a building, which you may see a lot of in NYC (I was born there), or maybe you want a long shot of someone who dosn't want to know ur taking a pic. I have other bodies than a K10, but it has proven very dependable, save $ for a K3 instead.
