I nominated #15 and it also got my vote from the reduced field. Several images looked too processed. The Jag image is so clean and natural. I admire how the photographer got the vehicle and the reflections in such sharp detail; and the composed reflective burst on the bumper just sells the whole image. Kudos!

Exquisite. That may not be "constructive". I could drone on about form, fractional shading, the interplay of tone and shape and like that. I would prefer to enjoy the image and exhale a soft word of praise.

A lurker finally revealed,
My name is Helen. Been retired for about twenty years (power plant, electrical tech) and photography is my hobby. Currently I own two medium format film cameras, a K7 and, just recently, a KP. Still learning my way around the new addition but Pentax makes that easy as the layout and menus are similar to the K7. I mostly do landscapes. Nothing online just now; at one time I had quite a few offerings on Photosig, but they folded, due to internal bickering I think. Made my first post a couple of hours ago about my successful effort to update the firmware in the KP; the instructions on the official page didn't work for me but I got there eventually. I may be getting on at seventy-four, but am not intimidated by technology.Hoping yours is a rewarding, photo-op summer!

Hello All,
My experience updating my newly purchased KP. Downloaded the file from Latest PENTAX KP Firmware Update : Software Downloads | RICOH IMAGING. Saw no "self expansion" as described on the site page. Expanded the .zip file with the Win 7 utility in windows explorer, which produced the .bin file in a folder. Copied folder to the formatted sd card in the camera. Update; no joy. Copied the .bin file out of the folder to the root directory. Update; no joy. Disconnected the camera from the 'puter. Update; JOY! So, maybe obvious to others, but thought my procedure might be helpful to fellow klutzes.
