Aaaah Kenspo - the bigger the rockstars the older (and slower) they are :D So you can´t compare them to the neighbor’s cat :confused::lol:

I hope to get my hands on a K1-II for concert shots, the changes sound promising (and yet I hoped they will pack in just a tiny bit more new stuff :o but hey, let’s hope for the next APS-C to get the fancy new things ^^)

Okay it´s time again for some of my shots :)
Last weekend I finally had the chance to try the K1 at a larger festival - Rockavaria in Munich. Here are some of my shots with the K1 + DA* 60-250 from Powerwolf and Nightwish. Did pp on all of them in Lightroom.
I have to admit, I´m ing impressed with the 36MP of the K1, I really have to get used to it and its crop possibilities. Focus with the 60-250 was not super fast, yet way more reliable then on my K5 when less light was avaiable! I really like the combo, but still the shiny new 70-200 is kinda flirting with me :o Well maybe santa will carry one for me with him :confused:
PS: I was shocked non of the other ~70 photographers used Pentax :eek:

I love this lens and I´m always impressed what photos I get "out of it" although it´s "just" a kit-lens ;)
Here is one of my first photos with my K5 and the 18-135:
Here I used it in a dusty concert tent at Summer Breeze Open Air. It was really dry and when the crowd went wild there was dust all over the place so I used the WE 18-135 with my K5 and I´m pretty happy with the results :)

After a longer time I want to show some shots again. These are from the Heaven Shall Burn concert in Frankfurt. Cause there was no photopit, I had to shoot out of the... well moshpit :D (all of you who know Heaven Shall Burn can imagine how that felt ^^).
The first one is to showcase the environmental conditions ;)
The other 3 are all taken with the FA 77ltd - it was my first concert I took it with me. I kinda wanted to test the ability to use it at concertphotography. I have to admit I was surprised how it performed with the lights there, but I won´t take it with me again if there is no photopit :hmm:

Well okay one more (sry for linking from FB, cant upload right now^^) Pentax K1 + Tamron 90mm 1/800s (was windy like hell) f4.5 ISO800 - the new screen came in very handy here :)

I will keep my K5 for a few comparisons with Crop Mode, etc and if I´m satisfied with the K1 - which I´m pretty sure about^^ - I will sell my K5 with a smiling and a crying eye ;)
But before all this can happen, the K1 has to get into my hands - so Ricoh GOGO :D

Do we see SR-Mirror to get a SR-Viewfinder, like the "cool CaNikon"-guys have with their SR-lenses or how do I have to understand this part? (my damn brain starts "interpretation mode" all the time when I start reading posts here :()

Well the topic was the camera - if she would say this in bed even the FF has to wait :o
I really don´t care if we see 36MP, or 42MP but if I can choose, I´d take 42! Not that I need them (at least I think I wont), but we would know the question to THE ANSWER :p

1) Price
2) Size
3) Not reasonable compatible with my APS-C lenses
I won´t buy it right from the launch, but from after 4 years of shooting my K5 it would be (hopefully) a nice upgrade, so it´s on my wishlist :)
