Probably sure this question has been asked and answered before, but darn if I can find it .... When I upgraded from the 16mp Pentax K50 to the 24mp K3 I was awe struck by the quality differance. Now here is my question, if I upgrade to the 36mp K1, would I see the same improvement in picture quality, using the same lenses I own for the K50?
Never met a lens that I could afford that I didn't buy....with 70 of them, wife hits me on the head every time she sees me crusing Ebay.
So would like to know if I would be happy in image quality without having to purchase the latest state of the art lenes for the K1?

Pentax Vivitar Series 1 28-105 macro. Won it on EBay for $35...its like new. Manual focus but no matter...grew up with manual focus when auto focus was but a thing for sci-fi. Took it out for a test run and it's a joy....really sharp focusing.

Because I hate lugging a 40 pound camera bag around...and because I am too porky for a vest...just sprung for a Pentax Tamron 28-300 macro...only had time to take a couple of quick shots at the post office...but think I will be pleased overall.

From Ebay, camera store demo K3... 180 clicks...got it for $479 and free shipping. Arrived yesterday. What a differance from the K50...its like I never used a camera before.

LBA STRIKES AGAIN .... Wife threatens a week on the sofa if I buy another lens sooner than 6 month ...guess I will start buying cameras instead :p
Pentax 55mm SMC f2.0....for $19 how could I let it go? Easy she says ....stay off of EBAY before I child block it :(
