Hello, just looking for a bit of advice.
After performing flawlessly for a few years, my K1 is now not recognising the battery in the grip. When I go to the battery options in the menu, it shows the battery in camera body is fully charged but the battery in the grip is either flat or non existent. Definitely not the battery itself because swapping them round brings the same result. Could this be some kind of connection problem?
Any advice or wisdom much appreciated.

Thanks. Yes, there is huge dynamic range for a 60 year old camera so I just turned exposure down a bit as it often overexposes from the meter reading I use on my phone app and it was a very bright day too.

I had intended to map the progress of my pup Jura through a series of photographs but it turns out that my big 112 pound German Shepherd is petrified of my K1.:lol:
So I took this one on a Yashica TLR loaded with a 100 ISO b&w film.

Worth a visit in the north west of Wales is the pretty village of Portmeirion, famed for being the set of crazy 1960s TV drama "The Prisoner". Constructed in the 1920s and modelled on a clifftop seaside Italian village.
Night photo with the K1 and the others with a Yashica tlr.

Another interesting site in my local area. The thatched cottage in the background is several hundred years old but still young compared to the castle gate in the foreground. Before the conversion to stone, there would have been earth and wood fortifications dating from around 1120.

Thanks. Ye, there is actually another one close by from the same period that is considerably bigger and the top stone apparently weighs about 40 tons! How did they lift it indeed!
