As the storm approached the mayfly hatch seemed to intensify. It was amazing to see their delicate profiles dancing in the midst of the wind gusts.

Thanks for the comment Dave. I have been guietly expanding my Nikon system with my latest purchase being the dx 85mm Vr macro. I felt it was time to give equal attention to my Pentax system. They both perform admirable given their individual strengths.

Dusted off the 50 macro and did a wild flower shoot at our cottage. Very pleased with the K20's results.

Had my pre dinner glass of wine on the cottage dock and was fascinated with the play of light on the condensation droplets with the lake backdrop reflections.

I purchased the K50 about 3 weeks ago and have been getting used to the features and trying most of my old and new glass on it. I also have a Nikon d7000 which has the same sensor as the K50 so it was nice to be able to compare shots with both. My first reaction to the use of my older A and full manual was "Wow!" the camera gave those old lenses new life; the detail and colors were amazing. I've included some shots of a Kiron full manual 70-150mm, the F 35-105mm and the D FA 50mm macro. All in all an amazing camera mister Pentax!

For me, A cup of tea brings me back to being, just "Being" in a simple way. The image was taken by a simple means, my old K100d and a Vivitar 28mm close focus. The final treatment was done in DXO film pack(Agfa Precisa 100).

Rupert, yes the printer will be asked to perform its magic but as far as "a serious mental evaluation" goes, my good wife has been requesting that for years!:o
Thanks for the comments,

I had just dropped my wife off at work and was heading home when I came upon this scene. I couldn't resist exploring what was down the snowmobile trail and I wasn't disappointed!

Love the textures as well especially #3. That might be a good candidate for a bw conversion. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks wildman for the comment. The vine (ivy) is growing on the old stone foundation of my home which is grey shale. It was a wet day and it really brought out the dark blueish gray tones.

Thanks Jer for the comment. The colors are amazing up here in the fall but the spectacle is oh so short. The next phase is white as in snow.
