MacBook Air 2018 for photo editing.

Hi,

The CPU of the new macbook air is quite slow, it will mostly depend on wich camera you have, the more megapixel it gets, the slower the macbook will be.
In my experience, coming from a K3 to a K1 make my surface pro with a i5 CPU a pain to use for photo editing, while it was ok with the K3. I know you asking for macbook air experience, but the two computers have a CPU quite similar (dual core i5) so you can expect the same kind of behavior.
I would personnaly go for a machine with at least a quad core CPU and 8gB ram if I wanted to buy a new computer, moreover if I wanted to use it for 10 years as you did with your current MacBook Pro.
Macbook pro seems a better choice for you IMHO.

Aperture ring not working on K3

Hello everyone,

I just bough a nice Pentax M 28mm f/2.8 today, and I wanted to try it on my K3. I have set the option to use it when not using the A setting on my camera, and after a few shoot, I realize that all the pictures are taken wide open! I tried with my A50mm too, to be sure it doesn't come from the lens, and I got the same result with the aperture ring not in the "A" position. So it looks like it come from the camera, but I can not find an option to fix this.

Any ideas?

The "promenade du bout du monde" is a beautiful sightseeing point over the city of Angers, in France. It means "the walkway of the end of the world", in reference to the impressive tapestry of the apocalypse, that you can visit in the beautiful medieval castel of Angers, which is just next of the walkway.

Yes, I have at least my qs1+ 01 standard prime lens with me when I go somwhere. When I know I am going to be more serious, I take my K3+31ltd. Both are light enough to be easily carried a whole day.

I would take the sigma 10-20 over the Pentax just because of the fisheye effect of the last one. I personnaly choose the sigma 8-16 and never looked back.
