There are two clous: stability and exposure. You should have a really sturdy and stabile tripod. Use selftimer and, if you have, remote shutter release. As far as exposure concerned try to set lowest ISO possible and f8. Start with 1/160s. Set AF to spot. You can take really nice images of the moon.

Thanks for your entries. Now the results: djb47: spiders web is a great example of a fragile structure. But, due to composition you pictured a spider rather then a web itself. Good idea and great picture. Max-E: Very nice portrait of a snail. I know snails are fragile but not fragile enough in my opinion especially compaired to the spider's web. I like the composition. Very good picture. Noelcmn: Very interesting picture. You and Tamia decided to show how fragile are man made structure. Great composition as usually, fine colours. Great photo. ramseybuckeye: Stunning photography of amazing creature. Great colours and composition. Good job. Tamia: You decided to present us a man made structure of stone and concrete which is more fragile than one could expect. Good choise. Great photo. Photolady95: Very good composition and colours but one could say it is too dimmed. I like the theme. Great photo. The winner of "Fragile" cometition is Photolady95. Your wips are the most fragile in my opinion. And your photo is great. Congratulation. djb47 finishes second And Tamia's third HM to Ramseybuckeye for his beautiful Monarch. Thank you for your entries and hope to compete with you in this week's edition of Project52.

All entries were great indeed and worth winning this exercise but it is judge's choice which is subjective and very personal. :)

It is extremely difficult to find a proper way to picture an idea. Especially the idea of peace. There are 4 marvelous entries in this competition and the honour goes to Ramseyebuckey. Feeling peace and safe is very personal but the sun will alway rise and set and this consistency makes me stronger and more peaceful everyday. Congratulation Tom. |
