I like to hear from any users on this forum who may own a Pentax K-S2 with a DA 18-270mm F3.5-6.3ED SDM lens. I am considering getting this lens (have just the kit lens now) and wondering what is your experience with this lens - camera combination and would you recommend it.

Thanks but I can't seem to get it to work. In the Button Customization I have AF/AE-L Button (Movie) set to AF1. The AF/AE-L button focusses before you start recording but nothing happens while the recording is in progress. I have the camera set to Spot Focusing. Is there some other setting that I need to check or does the button not work while recording is in progress?

I am aware that there is no continuous autofocus in movie mode, but is there a way to refocus while recording a movie, other than by using the manual focusing ring?

Hi,
I like to know if the PENTAX-DA 18-270mm F3.5-6.3ED SDM lens is compatible with the KS-2 body. The Ricoh website does not list this lens as compatible. I want to make sure before I buy one. Any other advice on this lens is also welcome.
