The velvet on his antlers looks so soft and touchable.

Too busy from all the scraggly branches in the foreground. Color and contrast is poor, too. You could try more saturation or a b&w conversion but that would still leave you with all the branches.

Though it's fun to see the ducks in their environment, my eye doesn't know where to land. So, I'd go with too busy.

I love these birds, unfortunately they only show up for a day or two before they are gone further south. Great capture!

Waxwings should be a year round bird in Virginia. Though some do migrate.

They don't seem to hang out in my area, they swoop in once or twice in winter, eat berries, and move off. I've yet to successfully capture one in a picture. Still I have cardinals, bluebirds, and a variety of woodpeckers so I can't complain.

Apparently waxwings flock to ripe berries. Per Audobon app, anyway. I have berries in the back that are out of sight and frequented by black bears that love raspberries. Maybe waxwings appear there? I will check in the spring.

Hi all, just wanted to post a couple of photos that I took the other day. I was testing out my K-S1 and am very pleased. This is my first photo post so I hope you like them. Thanks

Wonderful capture with the Canadian Snow Geese. I like the background, water reflections and treading water.
Looks like you had it all under control. Thanks for a great view.
