I was at lake Minitare outside of Scottsbluff (having driven from near Denver). My setup was a K50 with the 55-300 WR PLM on a decent Manfrotto tripod. I thought for the set-up I used the results are pretty good.
3 pics: Baily's beads, some solar prominence's and a big 'ol solar corona. I have enough images at different exposures that I'd love to attempt to try a stacked image with the flares and full corona taken at different exposures, but I doubt I'll have the time anytime in the near future.

Just a bit of a joke in the thread title since the prevailing sentiments means it's tough to not offend someone if words like Christmas or Hanukkah or etc... get used.
I've actually shot with Pentax since 2009 first on a Kx and now also a K50 (since May? of this year). Love the solid, small-sized DSLR quality.
You might guess A lot of the pics are skiing related based on my user name. A handful of lenses like:
Tamron 28-75 f2.8 (tough focus, but stunning images when it's spot on)
Sigma 10-20 f4 (solid, but a bit fuzzy images at such wide angles)
Pentax 18-55 kit (rarely used at this point)
Pentax 100WR f2.8 (love the crispness of virtually all this lens' images)
Pentax 35 f2.4 (not used too often but surprising quality when I do)
Pentax 18-135 (just bought in last month or so. Seems like a keeper for family time and love the fast focus and better images than the kit 18-55)
Used to have/use the kit 55-300 but that got knocked out by an unscheduled meeting with a concrete floor. Need to pick up another one, probably WR version this time.
