I have the Lowepro Protactic 350 which carries the 645Z, 28-45, 90, and fiters/accessories. I don't think I could fit anymore lens and suggest looking at the 450. The 350 travels well and fits perfectly under airline seats.

Adrian, Great photos! My wife and I did the same trek back in April of this year. I carried a 645Z with the DA645 28-45mm, D FA 90mm, and tripod. Unfortunately the weather didn't agree and it basically poured rained for all of the trip except for Mackinnon when the rain turned to snow with 100mph winds. The groups infront and behind ours had to be helicoptered out! The weather gods did give me a few hours with the camera when we hit the Milford Sound Lodge on the last day. Thanks for the photos.

I just recently (6 months) purchased the FA 90mm F2.8 and could not be more pleased. Its 2Lbs plus the 645Z puts it at around 5.5Lbs which is a tad heavy for me for a walk around but a good strap system makes it a mute point IMHO. The 90 is fantastic all around with two notes: 1. the IS is a little noisy, 2. In dim/dark lighting it struggles to autofocus at times. I've sold everything including my Cannon gear (3 bodies + 6 lens) and limited myself to the 90 and the 28-45, two very spectacular lens that are as sharp/sharper than my 85mm F/1.2L II or 200mm F/2L.

Hey Valvicphoto,
I've had my 645Z with the 28-45 for a little over 6 months and 10,000 shots later still love it. I got to shoot with a friend last weekend with his 645Z with the D FA 55 and the D FA 90 and was blown away with both lens. If the D FA 55 (~$1000) approaches "reasonably priced" for you I would recommend this lens (I would rent it first). I'll be selling off most of my Canon gear to get my hands on another body with the D FA 90 ... but that is not reasonably priced. Hope you get great light in Glacier!

both are amazing but I'd do the body first.

Hi All,
Long time stalker of this website - Love it. Thanks to a ton of you that secretly help me see. Been blessed recently with the ability to make that jump to MF with the 645Z . Really can't tell that I've been this excited about photography in quite some time if ever.
