Thanks you guys. Living in Hawaii has its challenges-main one being moisture. I’m wondering if that has something to do with it. I appreciate all the feedback. Luckily as far as the shoot goes I enjoy natural light photography and was able to position everyone appropriately for some great shots, especially with the evening light. Unfortunately no shots with the colorful sunset behind them, but still a viable shoot. I will look into sending off for repair vs replacing. Such a bummer I ‘just’ sold my spare flash..

Whoa. Not sure what happened.
Just put new batteries in my Metz 50 af-1, attached it to my newly acquired (used, purchased here on forum) K3ii and as I was raising it to my face it made a very loud bang and now won’t turn on! 🤔🤔 The glass on the flash looks fine, I don’t see any black and though it’s hard to see it looks as though I can see the bulb. Took batteries out and inspected, they look fine. Super confused and on location for a shoot starting in 20mins!! 😬😬 Shoulda got the KP!! 😝😝😝 I did notice some green corrosion on battery terminals..??

Up for sale is my K1. I really do love this camera but am traveling a lot this summer and want something smaller. If I could afford to have both, I would. I bought this camera January of this year from forum member. Shutter count is just at 10k. If i remember correctly it had between 2 and 3k actuations. I imagine I will be acquiring another one, possibly a MKII later this year after travel. Possibly open to partial trade for KP or K3ii, especially if it has a DA 15f4. Camera will come with original box, manual, strap, two batteries and two chargers.
I also purchased the wide angle lens at the same time. (along with a 50/1.7 that I'm keeping ;) ) Lens it perfect copy, no issues at all. I will add a couple of images captured with the lens, and am willing to email more if interested. Might post on eBay too, as well as locally on CL fyi. Would love to keep 'in the family' though and sell here on the forum.
The Vivitar Series One 70-210 was a decent copy until fungus started settling in. Doesn't appear to effect image quality now, yet still just throwing it in if interested. (not increasing the price of the package bc of it) Will include some shots taken with it as well. Not the A lens so its manual all the way. Works really well with the 'green button'. (Will add pics of this lens later if needed...)
I have a grip for sale as well, unused. It is listed in the marketplace and sold separately.
