Hello! I just treated myself with the K3-III. I wanted it, but had a hard time justifying the pricetag for it. Well, after a year or so thinking about it, I finally bought one.
But little did I know it was somewhat of a rare occurence: it's the silver premium kit, with the leather strap and the silver battery grip. Only 1.000 units were sold worldwide according to Pentax. It was just there, sitting in my local photo store since day 1... waiting for me probably.
I just wanted to share that story! It's a beautiful object.

Thank all for the comments, I searched but couldnt find "sigma stopped K-mount" anywhere so I thought I'd post it.
In the meantime I recieved a used copy of the Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 and I'm amazed at how good it is, I've used it a few hours today, both inside and outside. The AF works okay for me, even though it's slow and sometimes misses the target, but not because there seem to be something wierd with the lense, more like it focused something else than the main subject. It doesn't seem to be very much worse than the 18-135mm F2.8-4.5 WR included with my K50 back when I bought it, and I'm beyond happy with the results of my new lens :)

#14 has that feeling of immensity and being small in a world larger and more treathening than you can imagine. It got my vote... I think, because it said "you already voted", even if I did not.

The Caterpillar factory in Gosselies (Charleroi, Belgium) is closing : 2.200 workers and more than 4.000 contractors are left without a job. People gathered on the streets.
