I'm really looking forward to the DFA 85/1.4. I have a Sigma 85/1.4 which I like, but I want something more comparable to the ART. I would love to see a DFA fast 35mm as well. At least give us a 1.8, though 1.4 is preferred.

I found a used one for $300, I ordered a Sigma dock with it. I can't find much information otherwise since the dock was released for Pentax so I'm going to report back in about a week.

I am considering buying this lens, but the focus seems abysmal. I am considering buying the ART dock. Does this fix the focusing issues on this lens?

I have a Yongnuo YN560TX that I accidentally put in reverse and now it won't come out. Any ideas on what to do?
Edit: I was able to use a small screwdriver to, barely, get the screws off the base of the transmitter and get the flash off. Figured I'd update.

Hey guys. I have a K-50 with the 18-55, 35 Limited, 50/1.8, 100/2.8 Macro, and 55-300 along with a Ricoh GR-ii. I have never been in love with my 35 Limited and the thought that a 24-70 would make event shooting easier appeals heavily to me. I mostly bought the 35 Limited for it's quality and macro functions, but with the 100/2.8 Macro it's rather redundant in some uses. I feel like the 24-70 would suit me better. I've honestly used the 35 Limited about 5 times and that's it.
Am I making the right decision to sell this or am I being silly?

Oh gosh, sorry to hear! I made sure to buy my K-50 with a 3 year Amazon Warranty. Over 4,000 shots though and not a darn tootin problem. I love this bugger, I'd be crying without it.

As an accounting major I can't begin to explain the complexities that go into how a company charges what do, but if you'd like some basic knowledge read up on cost-volume-profit. Pricing is super complex and a lot goes into it.
But thanks for all the comments guys, I always love reading here and learning.

You guys are all super awesome. I bought the 55-300 to replace my 50-200. I honestly loved the 50-200 and have no regrets about paying the extra money in the kit for it. I took some of my favorite shots with it. I can't wait to play with the 55-300. The more and more I read about Sigma lenses the less I'm inclined to want to buy them. Consistency and quality seems to the the main issues I come across.
Question though, assuming Pentax did put a silent motor in the 55-300, that would increase the costs right? If so, I'm glad they offer it without, though an option to have it with would be a better option as long as both were available.

I got the 35/2.8 macro Friday and am delving into it. I absolutely love what I've shot with it so far, between this and my 50/1.8 I'm set for lenses until next year.

So I bought a 35/2.8 Macro with a refund check, not sure the focal length is a huge difference between the two in actual use, but the fastness of the 50/1.8 and the macro abilities of the 35/2.8 Macro makes me happy to have both in my possession.

Yeah it's a 50/1.8, seems a bit soft at 1.8
