Ok, so I've just had a go at the RAW file in PS. I don't think its too bad but, and its a big but, I was using the GRIII's preset JPG as something to aim for.

This little moth let my GRIII get to 6cm from it in macro mode and I got a handful of shots off. Heavily cropped but not too shabby for a little point and shoot

this small office building is a couple blocks away from where i live. I've been trying to get a nice photo for a while, happy to have found it with lights inside, no cars parked in front, street and sidewalk clear of snow, garbage cans, etc

The person in the last image is clearly having fun, allright. Lovely (action) images, Matt. The glare/stare is impressively sharp, Geodude! How did you process the tulip-image, Welshboy? The colours look a bit like those in older chemical colour photos; I find them oddly pleasing, so I'm curious.

Here's an image I took with the 18-135, a sunrise over a small, misty pond.

My social activist bestie and I went to downtown Louisville to walk across the Big 4 Pedestrian Bridge to a pizza joint in Jeffersonville, Indiana so I slipped the GRIII in my jacket pocket. Yeah, I took plenty of photos on the walk over and back. You may see some of those too. But once we got back to the car she decided to swing by Jefferson Square, ground zero for the Breonna Taylor shooting protests of last year.

The Square had been cleared of the memorials some time ago but there were a half a dozen protesters there. I noticed a BLM flag hanging limply from its pole and asked a protester who goes by Dee if he would hold it so I could read it. He started waving it. This was my last frame of the night. I like it.

Very different circumstances for each shot. Low light on the water, compulsory shot of the cat. The icey one was the first day I held it in my very cold fingers. The other one has low clouds on a very grey day.
