I wish they'd add some more JPEG options, but only because I like the ones they have so much already.

Did Pentax ever make a really premium point and shoot? I had an IQ Zoom in the 90's and I remember it being good, but the lens was definitely on the slow side. I'm so smitten with my GRIII that I've been thinking of picking up a film P&S for fun.

I think the previous generations built a cult following that they exploited with this model. Plus most people don't pay attention to pocket cameras and there's not much competition so they don't get too beat up over specs

It's amazing how much better the marketing for the GRIII is. It also doesn't hurt that it's a great camera.

I've never really totally loved my KS-2, but I do really like the 18-135 that came with it.

I've only had my GR III for a week, or two , but am loving it so far. It's great to just carry all the time. Was driving and noticed an unusual amount of pigeons so I stopped to take.a few shots.

I had this happen on my K2-2. I'm not sure how I feel about a class action suit though. Luckily I was able to get my camera repaired locally for a reasonable sum, but it would've been nice if Ricoh offered something to affected users.

I really hope this is the case. I'm hoping to be able to upgrade my camera in the second half of the year and better video is one of the main reasons I'm looking to upgrade. I have to admit though that I thought an articulating screen was pretty much a standard at this point and I'd prefer my next camera to have one.

I'm most likely going to wait to see what they come out with as I'd rather just stay with Pentax. I'm also interested to see what the Canon R6 will be like and with the current situation I'm not inclined to drop cash I don't have to anyway.

I really would rather stay with Pentax, but if I was ready to buy a new body right now it would probably be the Fuji. I've been getting more and more interested in video and my has been doing some low budget shoots that something like the Fuji would be good for. I really hope Pentax finally decides to improve the video in the new camera.

I've got a WG-60 coming in tomorrow that I ordered for my ten year old daughter. I thought it might be a good first camera to get her interested in photography and figured it should at least be able to take some abuse. It was a refurb on the Pentax site. I figured for 99.00 bucks it was worth a flyer.

Actually, I've been wiping groceries down with a disinfectant wipe and then leaving them in a separate area for a few days.
My KS-2 actually was being repaired right before things started getting crazy. When I picked it up I had him put it in a ziploc bag and when I got home I left the camera outside in the sun and cleaned it with alcohol wipes.
Oddly enough, I'm not at all a germaphobe in normal times.

Sorry, totally missed this. It is indeed Varick Holland Tunnel traffic. Luckily I was heading for the subway and didn't have to sit in it.

Believe me, I can't believe it's gone this fast already. I really try to slow things down when I can and enjoy it all. Oh, and she is most definitely a real hum dinger!

 Honestly I think she was just taking in the woods. Later on that day I did try to get her to pose and smile, but she was complaining the sun was in her eyes.

Need to get better at exposing the lensbaby lens, but in general I feel like my KS2 could be better in this regard. I feel like I had less trouble with my old ist DS

I always feel kind of awkward taking pictures in very public places and I think I screwed up the settings and overexposed a bunch of pictures, but I still liked this one.

The fog was making some really nice light the other morning. I wish I would've woken up a bit earlier and had time to really take a few shots, but I needed to get out the door to work.

Beautiful shots, makes me wish I was there. I'd say the next week or so will be the peak of the fall leaves in the Catskills, but it was such a dry summer I don't think the foliage will be quite as nice as usual.
