Item for Sale
For Sale: SMC Pentax 67 Fish Eye 35mm F4.5 With Fotodiox Pro PT67-> PT645 Adapter.

Asking Price
445.00 USD

Item Location
Nevada (United States)

Item Description
Up for sale is my Pentax 67 Fish Eye 35mm F4.5 lens.

Bought this lens to use as a very wide angle lens on my 645D using a Fotodiox Pro PT67-> PT645 adapter. The lens can be used on both a Pentax 67 or a Pentax 645/645D and is incredibly sharp.
Holding the lens square on the horizontal axis provides a very wide angle view without the common fish eye distortion. However, by tilting the lens on the horizontal axis you can introduce any amount of fish eye effect, especially on photos that have a horizon.

Having sold my 645D I have no longer a need for this lens and that it is why it is up for sale. Other 67/645 lenses to follow.

The lens is priced competitively, considering it also includes the Fotodiox Pro adapter.

Overall lens condition is excellent:

1- There are no scratches or dings on the lens barrel.
2-Focusing ring is smooth.
3-Aperture ring has nice clicks as you rotate it through the range. No slop or play.
4-Both front and rear lens elements are scratch free.
5-Very minor amount of internal dust visible, does not impact the performance of the lens.
6- Lens has built in UV, Yellow, Orange and Red filters which can be individually selected through a filter ring.
Filter ring operation is smooth and slots firmly into each filter position.
7- Front plastic lens cap shows some minor signs of usage/wear.

Included in the sale:
-SMC Pentax 67 Fish Eye 35mm F4.5
-Fotodiox Pro PT67-> PT645 Adapter
-Front and rear lens caps.

Attached photo is an example of the introduction of some fish eye curvature by tilting on the horizontal axis.

Pentax K1-II, Need to Re-format SD Card after every photo transfer to PC

Tried other SD cards, same result.

---------- Post added 02-20-22 at 08:43 PM ----------

Thank you for the suggestions, much appreciated. Your comments have helped me resolve the issue. For years I have been following the same photo transfer process from the camera to my MAC with no issues.
This included my 645D and KP. I would have the camera turned off. Connect the USB cable. Turn the camera on and use Adobe Bridge to "Get Photos from Camera". When the transfer was completed, I would turn the camera off and then remove the USB cable. I would get a message that the disk had not been disconnected properly, but as it did not affect functionality, I ignored it (shame!!). Following that process with the K1 it required the SD card to be re-formatted after each transfer. What I changed in the process as a result of your comments, is that I now go to "Finder", right click on the K1 icon, eject K1, then turn camera off and disconnect the USB cable. Have tried it several times and has worked perfectly each time. Not sure why it worked with the 645D/KP and not with the K1, but issue resolved. Thank you all.

Pentax K1-II, Need to Re-format SD Card after every photo transfer to PC

Just bought a new K1-II that included a Sandisk 64GB SD card.
Formatted the card, took a few photos and transferred them to my PC via a USB (micro B) cable. All went well.
When I went to take more photos after the initial transfer, it told me I needed to format my SD card?
I went through this process a few times and basically after each download to PC I need to format the SD card.
Not sure if I have missed a camera setting or what is going on.

Any help to resolve this is welcome.

Thanks, Vincent

Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway 3759 is a class 3751 standard gauge 4-8-4 "Northern" type steam railway locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1928. It is on display in Locomotive Park, located between Andy Devine Avenue and Beale Street in Kingman, Arizona.
3759 was delivered in 1928 as a 3751 class "Northern" 4-8-4 passenger locomotive. Originally a coal-burning locomotive with 73-inch drivers, the fleet was converted to oil in 1936 and rebuilt between 1938 and 1941 with 80-inch drivers. Its regular service was pulling passenger trains on the Santa Fe's main line through Kingman, which was a water stop. Retired in 1953, the engine had traveled over 2,585,000 miles.
