The Woman in the mirrior

A bit confusing, but shot straight into the mirror at the lady with the sony shooting back at me. Everything in the image is a mirror reflection and there is no "actual" person that is not a mirror reflection, and though it looks like a self portrait taken in a mirror by the woman with the sony, if you look behind her you can see her reflection pointing her camera at the man on the other side of the mirror with the Pentax.

Same speed saving 2nd image in jpeg to flu card?

Using Pentax k-3. I recently purchased a flu card to allow me to share photos when I'm away from my desk top. I typically shoot in raw then process and export in jpeg via lightroom. I take a lot of "snapshots" at family functions and people are always saying "send me that picture". I often forget who wanted which pic. So I am still recording images in raw to my 1st card and saving jpeg to the flu. I'm now able to send pictures directly to other people's phones or share them on social media easier. My only question is "does saving to 2 separate cards effect how fast the camera is able to take pictures at all"?

Sorry about the beer can. It was a lazy last minute effort before bed. I decided to take a shot at something even if it wasn't very good. My day job is working on air conditioning systems in southern oklahoma and we've had a few weeks straight if 100+ temperatures. So finding time to shoot something interesting is kind of hard this time if year, but I'll try a little harder today.

Its seems there used to be a bigger nonprofessional/enthusiasts/hobbyists, base. Let me rephrase that. The art itself is not dying, as this forum proves. There are plenty of skilled professionals, the casual dslr enthusiasts are dying off. Which is why I bought one my kids could use and hopefully one of them would find a passion for the art.

I knew someone was going to take offense to that. But with camera phones and high-tech point and shoot, at least in my area less people are using SLRs, digital or otherwise. The pawn shop that I bought the K-x a few months ago had a $250 price tag on the camera, but said he couldn't sell them because everyone has camera phones, so he sold me it for $100 bill. I am also in rural OK. If I'm mistaken about the sales or popularity of SLRs nationally I apologize.

I just stumbled upon this. Is it too late to participate this month? I love the idea, it gives me a reason to use and equipment that i would not othereise use. I own k-3, k-5 & k-x, and gave my sister my old k-200. The k-x is the one i bought most recently (for $100) mainly so my kids could play with it and learn the dying art of dslr photography. I also thought i might use it as a spare that i wouldn't worry too much about damaging and it is small and very light weight (for a pentax). But i dont use it much (or the other 2 for that matter, im a enthusiast at best). But thought this would be a good excuse to use it everyday paired with a lens i rarely use HD Pentax-da 2.4 70mm.

Nice natural (in the nature sense and in the not overly saturated sense), eerie, rustic, actually has both: a table & chairs (not just a chair) I like it. Nominated.

Hobby photographer here. 1st SLR was Kmart minolta ( I think ) had a lot of fun with it as a teen. After much research I decided to get k100d (because I couldn't afford K10D). I liked the rugged durability of it, steel frame, weather seals and rave reviews from owners. I gave it to my sister a few years ago and upgraded to K-5, which I still love. I see that k-3 is new model now. But I dont think I will ever outgrow my K5, unless I just break it or something.
