hi
Today the seller send me an adapter to fit it with my canon eos..
However after putting it on and getting some test shots, I realized that my copy of chinon 200mm f3.5 is not reaching infinity focus.. The focus ring goes all the way from 2 mt and stops at 30mt but not reaches infinity..
Is there a problem with my copy of lens or is there something special need to be done to get there...?

hi
myself kushal from india, i love shooting with manual lenses on my canon 600d aps-c dslr
untill now i had been using 2 m42 mount lenses helios 58mm f 2 and smc takumar 55mm f 1.8
recently i had been searching all available resources for few days for getting a 200 mm manual lens. finally i bought a auto chinon 200mm f3.5
the seller described it to be m42 mount, but when i received the lens , i found that its not m42 mount but something other than that.
now i am quite sure that its a pentax mount but which version i am not sure of..
one significant thing i found that circling the lenses front element its written "200mm" and not "f=200mm"
now as the lens overall is in pristine condition so i am not inclined to return it.. only if i get to know the mount type, i can find an adapter
i hope you could help
thanks
kushal
