I have taken this in my garden this morning with this lens. Was taken at F2.8 I am quite pleased with the result...
I just want to mention that I also get dark frames with the KS-1 and I was shocked to hear that someone experienced the same with the KS-2. To wake it up I fire a quick bursts until its ready. In the motor industry the whole line gets recalled and fixed for free... WHY cant Pentax offer the same?? Its always the consumer that's receiving the short end of the stick..This has been reported all over Jeeezzz!!!

Top photo is a Blue Plumbago against clear skies and the bottom one Bauhinia Galpini both indigenous and taken in my garden..

No just a severe crop. Photograph was taken as close as possible what the lens allow me.

Firmware version on my KS-1 is Ver. 0.30. It sounds a bit odd but don't Firmware starts at 1. I know the newest version is 1.10 an I tried to google the firmware history on this model, but to no avail. Is there someone with more information.
