With the k-3(II) it was also merely one day. Most of it will just be theoretical stuff. The real training is when we will get our hands on the camera and get to test and play with it. Normally 2 or 3 weeks before the release.
I'd like to add that I have no clue about the people in the tech centers who actually fix the camera's. Since this is all outsourced to external companies.

They are. Good thing or bad. Since our training starts at and after the 25th. You could assume that most specs etc will also be revealed around that date. Training will probably take about a day, maybe two at most. Sales probably short after that.

Sorry to join in here without properly introducing myself, but the training for the Service Employees starts 25th of feb ;) (europe that is)
For "us" there are no specs available either yet.
