It sure does look good on my Pentax ME aswell, but I love it on my K-1 even more :o Compact, beautiful sharpness and out-of-focus softness. By far, my most used lens (That's why it was the first to get a display stand ;) )

Not a new purchase in that sense: I've been looking for a nice display stand for my vintage classic lenses for a while now, and never really found what I was looking for. That's why I set about designing a stand myself and without further ado 3D-printed it. The result is great! The lens is screwed on using the bayonet mount and is super stable. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether copper, gold or Pentax red would be better for the colour of the lettering?
Now I'm going to print more display stands for my other lenses! Attachment 624415 |

Got myself a M 135 3.5 and a K 135 3.5. I am looking for a compact alternative to the K 135 2.5. Let's see who wins!

I think a 400 2.8 is too small a niche. Pentax is already not very widespread, most "pros" are already with Canon, Nikon and maybe Sony. Pentax would have a hard time there. The autofocus got better than the , but still not on the same level as the competition.
Pentax should concentrate on its "core competence".

I like the different levels and the contrasts between dunes, mountains and scrub in the foreground!

As always, it's the photographer who matters, not the lens. Very nice pictures!

Hi! The link seems to be inactive, is there any other way to get those disassembly documents? Thanks!

Which Firmware are you using? Maybe a newer version will fix it. My K-1 doesn't mock me like that, gladly.

I paid 35 € for my M 28 3.5 which had slight marks of use, the K 28 3.5 cost me around 64 € + shipping, my K 35 3.5 cost me about 30 €, a true bargain :o
And i would never ever buy a M 28 2.8 or a pendant of those again if I had the chance to choose. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's worth it- In my opinion the M 28 3.5 is the real deal considering size, weight, sharpness (at all apertures) and costs. ;)

My favorite lens is the Pentax K 28 3.5. Razor sharp and not to big, and not to small! Had the A 28 2.8, M 28 3.5 and now the K 28 3.5. The A 28 2.8 (same optical formula as the M 28 2.8) was horrible, only usable at F8 and higher, the M 28 3.5 is great, smaller than the K 28 3.5, but a little less sharp. The K 28 3.5 is perfect :)

Hey guys, just a quick question about the leitax adapter. Lenses used with the Leitax-Adapter have to be used like a M-Lens right? So no setting of aperture via the camera?
Thanks :)

Hey there, thanks for the great feedback!
Yes, I love my old glass! I use them even more than my new glass :o
Sure, no problem. Acutally, it was already pretty dark (it was about 9 o'clock pm), i had my tripod set and focused via Liveview (there were other photographers too, cursing on their autofocus :D).
First I tried to go with my M 50 1.4, but in my opinion the picture got to narrow, I wanted to have the bridge as a huge glowing leading line to the cathedral. So i took the K 28 3.5, set it to F8 (everything is in focus, and because I had my tripod with me, long exposures wouldn't be a problem) and just waited for a train to pass by.
Post Processing? Actually, there isn't much I did. Time and location are doing the most part here. I can attach the unprocessed picture :)
What I did, is working on contrast and sharpening after downscaling. Attachment 349978 |

I got myself a Samyang 14 2.8 recently. I was looking for a wide angle for a long time now, but couldnt decide! Got it for 230 Euro (about 250 Dollar) and i am happy, even though i would be really happy if it had the ability to use filters :(
