In my case, 6MP (hence lingering in this thread) and a working internal battery would be deluxe. Thirty quid for a body and a couple lenses is a worthy benchmark!

Dave — if it's any consolation, think of all the spiders you can't see at any given moment. ;)
The K100D posts (867-and-on) got me wondering, what is the sweet spot (price : performance) for a used Pentax DSLR body? Thinking of a backup/replacement for my DS2...

Since the OP is in DFW (hi, Paul!) and we are talking about old P-bodies, here's one of the shots I took of our amazing snowfall in Feb 2010. It's currently 96°F with a heat index of 100°F at Love Field, so this pic is meant as a bit of refreshment.
(I didn't actually ride in this, BTW; just grabbed the bike for a depth gauge. It's being held up by the snow against the spokes.)
