Yep that's another good point about local b&m camera stores. There is one in downtown Vancouver that has a huge stock of rental gear, including the 645Z, 67ii & many Pentax lenses, some of which are no longer produced. A perfect way to try out gear and see if you like it.

I totally agree, nothing like a good local camera store.
Also with a b&m store you can get holds/layaway's. I've been to local stores numerous times and found a hard to find item I want to buy, but did not want to fork over the entire amount then. I can put down 10-20% and the store will hold the item for me, so no one else can buy it. I also get a 90 warranty on any used purchases and just have to return it to the store. No hassle at all and no return shipping.

We have numerous b&m camera stores in Vancouver and all carry Pentax. There is also the drug store chain "London Drugs" that carries Pentax, they are across Western Canada.
Leo's Camera (one store downtown)
Kerrisdale Cameras (many across metro Vancouver & Victoria)
Broadway Camera (Vancouver/Richmond)
Lens & Shutter (Vancouver, Victoria & Kelowna)
Gastown Photo (one store downtown)
Beau Photo is a b&m store that has studio equipment, high end medium format gear, film and darkroom supplies. As well as a huge used/consignment section. They don't carry new Pentax/Ricoh as far as I know,
