I had the pleasure of owning a K-3 for almost three months, before it was stolen last week on my trip to Ecuador.
Although it was an extremely short time and I didn't even get to use every feature, it was more than enough time to realize what beast of a camera it is.
Our relationship may have been short, but my love will last forever. All I can say is that Pentax (well... Ricoh) has gained a lifelong customer and I can't wait to get my hands on another K-3 or K-3 II if prices get lower.
I was devastated and decided to honor my little K-3 by sharing some of the photos I took with it in this little time (I'm just getting into photography and this was my first camera so they are nothing great, but I felt I needed to give it some sort of recognition)
Most of them if not all where taken with the 55-300mm WR and maybe one with the HD Pentax-DA 40mm F2.8 Limited.
A shitting Austral Negrito
Old House
Plain-mantled Tit-Spinetail eating a larva
Gray-hooded Sierra-Finch, AKA "Bacon Eater" here in my country. (Love that name)
Southern Lapwing
Hope they weren't too many.
Cheers!
