Nicely done. The last one really shows some sensor dust though. It's my pet peeve on the Z as it's so damn difficult to get in there to clean it, and the pixel pitch makes even the smallest dust obvious when it is stopped down.

I like the colours, but you're using the shutter speed rather than flash duration to try to freeze the motion. Can you use X-sync speed and get the flash to fire for minimal duration (rather than be in hotsync mode) instead to better freeze the droplets?

Excuse my being a little off-topic, but are you using a nodal slide with the 28-45? I tried to find the nodal point for mine on the RRS MPR-CL II and the slide didn't seem quite long enough to get it back far enough to eliminate parallax error. This would save me from considering the 35mm if I could get it working with the zoom.
