Great to see horizon correction added, I always have it enabled with the k3ii. It will make my griii an even better ultra light backpacking/hiking camera, I have the filter adapter just for using polarizers with it for landscapes.
If I read the second line under "improved contents" correctly, they've addressed the situation where the meter would react a bit slow when the scene suddenly changed, blocking the shutter? I've encountered that rarely but enough to notice.

In the meanwhile, the GR III shows sold out again at bh, recent forum news said it's in stock :)

My camera shipped a week ago, and I've had it for six days (and I really like it).
I'm guessing that the initial batch sold out, because all large online stores that I checked say it's either backordered or coming soon, and I haven't seen any show in-stock yet.

I got an email today from bh apologizing (?!) that they expect to ship the camera on Monday.
Not that I have a camera with a tilting screen, but I'm worried I'd bump the screen all the time if it was extended like that. Do you find that an issue when walking, or tend to use the lcd when sitting/standing? I either look through the viewfinder, or just not look at all (not a great habit..), I'm now using dslrs with fixed screen or film cameras... wondering how the gr iii will be in use, in theory it will be a good fit for me.

This camera really threw a wrench in my LBA strategy ... wondering what will happen with some of my lenses after the gr arrives :)
