My GR III arrived today. It's a tiny beast in terms of usability and ergonomics. Any setup adjustment I could think of, it offers it. And I think I'm already spoiled by my K3-II in this regard.
Just for fun I attached my only pttl flash, the AF200FG, to the GR III just to notice two expected things: it dwarfs the camera, and it works perfectly fine despite not being listed as compatible by Ricoh.
Obligatory cat photo in macro mode, straight out of darktable just because I left outputs to raw-only.

Edit: to supplement my initial answer, I've been planning to get this camera for at least two years, even though I don't have the second version. Ibis/sr is hard to say no to.
