Amen. Marketing works, look at some of the ugliest shoes made by a human (Adidas Yeezy) that gather overnight cues and insane prices (seen up to $1500 per pair), marketing clearly got them this success, and unfortunately Pentax doesn't seem to value proper marketing. I honestly seen 1(!) ad over last three years, a K-1 ad in Outdoor Photography magazine, and it was so painfully banal and uninspired, that it could've literally been any other brand out there. Maybe they need to so something a bit different, but they don't seem to want to innovate in that regard either.
