While I was already out with K-3 III and Sigma 10-20/3.5 pointed at Perseus, why not point the K-1 with the Hefty Fifty in another direction? Worked out well:
DFA* 50/1.4 at 1.4, 5s, ISO 1600.

HD (DxO uses the SMC module for the lens and wrongly writes that to the EXIF) 31 wide open on K-1

DA* 300 on K-3 III
Thought I could just go back one day later (today) with a lens that would be better suited for this, and/or a tripod, but today it had already lost its sheen and had fallen over and some holes in it :confused: next time I'll not succumb to sloth if such a photographic opportunity presents itself, I swear

After having already sent my post I thought you might also have meant the difference between the "prosumer" models like K-5 and K-3 and the "amateur" models like K-50...
iirc the K-S1 has only one control wheel and is not WR? The K-S2 has two wheels and is sealed. The K-S2's body is still quite small, I think smaller than the K-50, but a little bigger and heavier than the K-S1. Also a fully articulating screen like the K-70 has, SAFOX X instead of IX+ AF module, GN12 instead of GN10 built-in flash, and WiFi built-in. Apart from that only little differences, different button layout (but the same functions addressable via buttons I think), and imaging-wise they seem to be the same. Not built as tank like as the prosumer models, and I've not handled a K-S1, but I think the K-S2 feels a little more like a serious camera than the K-S1 in terms of ergonomics.

Have you handled a K-S2? It's a different body than that of the K-S1. If you have, what did you not like about it?
