Now isn't that something: My Dad flew Canadian Harvards in Alberta in the late fifties as a flight school attendant ... graduated on the T-bird before going back to the Royal Danish Air Force as a fighter pilot. I'll have to ask him, if he flew at Penhold. I seem to remember the place was called something with 'Lake' in the name, though! Great photo!

I'll be interested to know what you think of it; I wasn't that happy about the Delta 400 in its first iteration. It had IMHO an unpleasant grain structure ... The Delta 100 was wonderful. I have some 35mm Agfa APX 100 coming - and some Ilford FP4 in 6x7. Right now I'm mostly using Ilford XP-2 Super for analog photography, as my darkroom isn't up yet.

Hi

Thought I'd pitch in with a couple of photos made fairly recently.

Both were made with an Asahi Pentax K2 and a SMC Pentax K 28mm F3.5. The film is an Ilford XP-2 Super, and I scanned the negatives on a Nikon Cool Scan V ED. Post was made in Affinity Photo, where I sepia toned the 'prints'.

Best

rhmimac, I used the following films:

Image 1: Agfachrome 100S
Image 2: Kodak Ektachrome 100S
Image 3: Kodak Ektachrome 100S
Image 4: Ilford XP-2
Image 5: Fuji RVP

... actually I'm not that fond of color photography, but sometimes you have to deliver things in color. For my own use, I convert nearly all my work to black and white. And Yes: I do shoot B&W film. For a lot of years Ilford Delta 100 was my choice - now and then some Ilford Delta 400 would find their way to my cameras ...

I'm about to give Agfa APX 100 a go - it looks very promising to me.

My main stay developer for B&W films has for a number of years been Tetenal Ultrafine ...

The photo below is one of these Ilford Delta 100/Tetenal Ultrafine-images ... Camera is a Nikon F90X with a AF Nikkor 24mm F2.8 ...

Thank you very much!

By "combo" I was just referring to the combination of camera, lens, and perhaps filters. The red filter is Nikon (60), the polarizer is a Heliopan SH-PMC multicoated - and the Lee Filter-thing is an adaptor-holder-bellows-lens-hood taking up to 3 pcs 4"x6" filters at a time. Sometimes that's rather handy, as I occasionally use both a hard grad and a soft grad ND filter plus a warm up filter at the same time ...
