Marc has been on a bit of a leave from this forum for several months due to his schedule, so I wouldn't hold my breath on a response to that.

Ash, you are the Tammy mirror master of this forum. Nice stuff.

This little robin is my first shot with the Tamron mirror. I can see that I need to get to know the focus techniques for this lens as I seemed to focus on the branch, rather than the bird's head. From looking at the branch and this little guy's feet, I'd say the lens is plenty sharp for an extreme tele. It will be fun learning.

My mirror also arrived today--a Tamron 55bb. First impression is that this thing is amazingly small and has a quality feel. Second, Kudos to KEH, because this lens looks new, as does its case and accessories inside, which are still in plastic wrap. For about the price of one of the Chinese Ebay offerings, I have the classic. After a little futzing with the Adaptall-2, I'm really looking forward to having something to post here soon.

Inspired by this thread, I just purchased a Tamron 55BB at KEH and hope to be contributing here soon. I notice they have an Adaptall-2 mount for KM and K mount. I bought the K, but I've never heard of an Adaptall-2 KM. Has anyone else? I would think with a single aperture lens, that the mount would not be as critical in terms of transmitting aperture info.
