While Eric still has my Spotmatic F, I have decided to take my recently acquired Nikkormat for a walk.

At a local Starbucks, writing down some statements and ideas for my project.

Yes. Infinity on ME Super (the hyperfocal scale is nail on, and the hard stop infinity is infinity) and NEX-6 with a Mitakon LT II (reaching infinity on the 5m mark and is not hard stop). Haven't tried on my K-S2, though.

I didn't do the mod - the shop who sold the lens had a modding service, and it wasn't expensive at all if purchased in a bundle. They also can mod the lens to EF, F, A, and M42 mounts while preserving infinity focus (and accuracy of hyperfocal scale).

I once wanted this Voigtlander, but didn't have any luck hunting it down on eBay. Never knew this is the same as the Rollei.

Rollei HFT Planar 50/1.8!

Originally in QBM but moded to dumb K-mount. No clearance issues with ME Super.

Yeah, but I bought the 01BB as a 35mm FOV equivalent for my K-S2 in the first place, and using it on my Program Plus as a 24mm ultra wide is its minor usage.

Given up aperture automation in turn gives me the option of aperture priority on DSLRs when a KA adapter is cost prohibitive.

Sent from my Android phone, please forgive any possible typos.

I read that the F2.5 lenses will report to the body as F2.4, and may screw up metering. This can be fixed with a mod, but I am a bit lazy.

I would prefer the non-coupled Chinese adapters over the official M ones as these Chinese adapters enable Av and removes the need for sticking to green button.

The Fotasy ones look so far so good. I got it here.

There is no aperture coupling, so the lens functions just like a M42 lens. As my both Adaptall-2 lenses has an aperture of f2.5 (01B & 02BB), this actually makes my life easier as I don't have to do a mount mod like on the official KA adapters, or do green button on the official KM adapters.

Didn't buy the Tamron Adaptall-2 52BB as I figured out I don't need a lens like this soon.

Shot with the Pentacon 30/3.5 and Sony ILCE-5000, seems pretty well for me.

Actually it is a Chinon CP-5 (K-mount), with 1/1000s max shutter speed and what seems to be metal shutter curtains. The prism viewfinder is pretty nice.

Pentacon / Meyer Optik Lydith 30mm f/3.5 Lens Reviews - Miscellaneous Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database originally bought as a slow-ish normal for my K-S2. Didin't opt for the faster 29/2.8 because I failed to find one in good condition.
