Fenwoodian, do you also have the Voitlander 125 Lanther? I would be interested in buying it, if you do.

The Voigtlander Lanther 180 came. This lens rocks!!! It is the smallest 180 I have ever seen! The Zeiss lens are bigger. It's slim like a Leica.
Here is a close focus pic. Shot on Tav, jpeg, straight out the trailer, no adjustments except resize in windows. I like the tonal quality, and smooth transitions of the whites. What do you think? Smooth right?

Yeah, me and Mrs. Robinson. I will hide it in my pantry with the cupcakes !!!
Seriously, I was in the Leica conversion lens group before I came over here. It was fabulous until I had to step up to the plate and do the deed. One thing led to another... no one mentioned, when you take that little ball out that controls the aperture clicking., there is a little spring, about the size of a Flea underneath it,!!! No kidding,,,,, It fell down into the lens never to return. and all I could think about was what if it falls back into my camera body while I am shooting, and shorts my camera out. It really worked my nerves.
I have the famed 90mm just waiting for its conversion but I think I should sell it LOL . I like the natural color and the dreamy looks you can get with it. I have seen images with those lenses that look as good as if they were shot with the lecia S type 006 with the CDD sensor.
And then I realized, I'm starting a collection here for this K1, I am all set.. I really need to cancel my Hasselblad order.

Thanks guys! I have the 35mm, and the 85mm, so will be all set with the 50 makro. I started shooting film 40 years ago, I prefer manual everything, and the Zeiss image and build quality are second to none!
I shot this with the 35mm. Huge crop, and was developed for an 8x10 print. It took a lot of attention not to blow out highlights. I use a Pro Kodak thermal dye sublimation 8 x10 printer, so I have to stay within the limits of the machine.

I love this shot. I like your composition!! Incredibly sharp. I just joined the club and purchased a Distagon T* 35. I guess with the right skill set all the Ziess Distagon lenses look as sharp? I can't wait until it arrives!!!
