Rent or borrow the 24-70 before you buy one. It is not anything special on K-1. About the same as 24-70/4 sony zeiss zoom optically on hi-MP body. Sharp region is about 2/3 from center towards the edges which never fully sharpen up. Unusable wide open except in the very center.

For Pentax landscape it would be Leitax (or native) converted 35/2 Zeiss Distagon. I would complement it with 21mm Distagon and 50/1.4 planar. For UWA, 15mm Irix.
