How many of those are present at fixed positions? And what is the magnification in these samples? 100%?

I used five different K-1 bodies and the 1st one was in its own class when it comes to amount of white dots. It was calibrated twice before good results could be obtained. The other four were not absent of dots, but were manageable and even good. Nikon had this same issue with D810 when the model was launched back in 2014. Bodies which were okay according to Nikon's service advisory all had some amount of dots present in long exposures. This is a feature of Sony 36MP chip.

White dot units require sensor calibration. Hardware itself may be working properly.

Can you take 30 second exposure at ISO3200 using a subject with lots of dark surfaces? It will show up instantly if there is an issue which needs to be solved with calibration. Do not use in-camera jpg files with NR features turned on as there was a special fix with some firmware last year that tried to filter out these dots (only for jpg files).

Just a note, this is what the white dot -issue looks like. This example is ISO3200, 30 seconds. 100% crop.
It might be that single whites here and there will not get fixed (sensor calibrated IF Precision does that...)

Pentax KP is not much different. It has 24MP Sony sensor and every RAW image I have taken so far has a few of these whites after LR conversion. But it is nothing like uncalibrated K-1 sensors which are present in some copies of the camera. The problem with those is that even a mild shadow push causes white dot explosion in dark ares of the frame when dealing with long exposures (~30 seconds and more).
