Zeiss 35/2 in K-mount has the cake. Not so popular but possible to find in Ebay quite often. No plastic and guaranteed Zeiss color & pop. I had one for years when I used Nikon. Now I have Samyang 35mm f/1.4 which is also spectacular if one gets a decent copy (real lottery).

That is deep. I think this big picture is wrong. Flagship K-1 gets a plastic budget lens and crop system gets premium superwide. How 'bout 35/2 with quality of the new 50mm?

Weird release this 35mm lens. Exactly not something I wanted for K-1 after waiting since 2016. HD updated Canon 50mm f/1.8 -class plastic "bucket".
