Bologna's leaning towers on 31 May of this year. Highlighted on today's CNN due to the fear of their imminent collapse. An exclusion zone will be created around them while potential repairs are being contemplated, and it will no longer be able to access the area to take pictures such as this. Thanks. This was our 3rd trip to Venice. So far, we've been there over the Christmas holiday season, in mid-summer and, now, springtime. Each time of year offers unique photography opportunities, but I've found that, for me, the wide-to-normal focal length range is consistently my number one choice, and the HD DA 16-85mm lens is my favorite lens for this city. Venice has become my favorite city to visit!

Thanks. I took 2 lenses with me – the 16-85mm and my 55-300mm PLM (along with a 1.4X teleconverter). I found that the 16-85mm almost never left my K-3III. As you said, it's a great multipurpose lens, and when combined with the K-3III, it allowed me to get probably 95% of the shots that I wanted, whether I was indoors or outdoors.

Just spent 12 days in northern Italy. Started in Milan, so my wife could (hopefully!) get her fill of shopping – didn't happen! Nevertheless, while she shopped, I got the chance to play with my HD 16-85mm lens on my K-3III. These shots were taken in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping mall in Milan on the 23rd of May, and show some of the fascinating architectural detail of this repurposed building..

Sunset over the Gulf of Mexico from 2 days ago. Taken from a high rise further inland in Naples, Florida, rather than the beach, due to beach closures caused by red tide, K-3III and HD DA 16-85mm.
