Because actually, they are not photographers! They speak about features as you said but not of the real potential/capability of the camera...:(

Did anyone say IBIS in the Pentax K-1 (II) is the only one in the world in a FF OVF DSLR camera? No. Did they say everything works with every lens, Pentax mount or not, Leitax mount or not (except AF of course for Manual Focus lenses), which is not the case with Canon/Nikon? No. Did they say that weight with D-BG6 grip is not heavier than Canon EOS EOS5D mkIV nor Canon D850/D810/D800 and most of it: 50% cheaper? No. That Pentax uses "universal" DNG RAW files? No. That PixelShift Classic mode can be processed perfectly in RawTherapee in Linux/MacOsX/Windows OS? No. That mirror mechanism is so smart vs other brands' DSLR cameras? No. And so on ....

The 28 lens is my favorite wide-angle focal length and the Leica Elmarit-R 28/2.8 E55 is still awesome despite of new formula lenses...

What made a good photo company to my eyes, was the quality of their lenses. And for this point, I always considered Leica as the top (not for the cameras except SL2 and R6). That is why I kept my Leica-R lenses. I am not disappointed, these lenses are still at the top of quality nowadays, and so versatile, so small for great quality. But as of today, you have to consider the lenses and the camera as well because of the sensor and the way company can manage with it.
As I am concerned, I am very happy to get the best DSLR Pentax K-1 (II) for my needs to give to my Leica-R lenses, the best of the two worlds...
But, there is no sense today to buy Leica systems IMHO as it is unaffordable, it doesn't worth it, unless you are a Leica-M system fan, I can understand it. ;)

Right. Nevertheless, better to compare to A7IIIR, Z7, D800/D810/D850, 5DSR (5DMKIV is out by far).. No, actually, the Pentax K-1 (II) is a fantastic tool for FF DSLR pictures. Of course, it's not good for video, AF has not to be compared to other brands, but image quality is exceptional... and exceptional according to the price. Thank you Pentax!
I am so happy with this camera.
Waiting for next generation (2 or 3 years time?), a new kind of (Hybrid?) HR-EVF camera with global shutter, a zero shutter lag, multi-frame stacking features and so on to make me switch. But for the moment, Z7 but especially Canon EOS R is not worth to spend so much money for this poor quality of image and an EVF less good than the last generation of Leica SL... It's just marketing, no more...
besides, I do not regret my updated K-1 to K-1 II...

Actually, the Pentax K-1 is the worst IBIS OVF FF DSLR camera in the world I must say but the only one, so I keep it! ;)

PS1: I made a mistake, there is another one, the Pentax K-1 MKII... :D
PS2: my lenses (majority Leica-R lenses) are out of fashion, vintage, old design. I use them to shoot but not to look at their characteristics...
PS3: for what I do with my camera, It's more than sufficient.. I am so bad at RAW processing at least...
PS4: I should wait for two generations more before buying EVF FF DSLR Camera.. I trust my Pentax camera..
