Good to hear! Looking very forward to seeing some examples from the A* 600/5.6 :) There are relatively few examples available on-line shot with these lenses on the digital bodies.

The famous green goo from a few weeks ago. Shot with 645Z + FA35/3.5 @ f/3.5 and ISO 3200. Light's Out by Kristján Unnar Kristjánsson, on Flickr
I'm dying for some good wide open pics from the FA 400/5.6 - I'm not sure whether to get that lens for my 645Z or just go for a more modern 400mm on my Sony body - somebody please convince me the Pentax 645 long tele is the way to go

Hello! First time poster here, have been lurking for a few months though leading up to my purchase of the 645Z.
Here are a few frames from last night, near my hometown Reykjavík in Iceland. Taken with a newly acquired Pentax 645Z and the FA 35/3.5 lens. Most were shot at f/5.6 for added DOF, ISO1600 and time ranging from 10-30 seconds. Considerable pushing was done in post in order to balance the brightness, as there was no moon light or snow to provide fill light to the scenery. Thankfully the camera has almost 15 stops of dynamic range so pushing was not a problem. I tried to adjust the photos to look the most natural to me, how they felt in real life without exaggerating too much.
