I feel I should add that I have come here primarily because of my interest in legacy lenses, I am not a Pentax user ...unless the small collection of Takumar lenses I use counts :-)
This site has the best and most extensive database of old lenses I've found so far.
It looks like I blundered a bit on one thread and may have got off on the wrong foot.
I hope I can continue to join in with discussions despite being primarily a Canon and Fuji user at the moment.
I'm here exclusively to discuss photography and results and definitely NOT to argue the toss over which camera manufacturer may be better or best.

Hi folks! I've been lurking here for a number of years reading the reviews and decided it was about time I registered.
I am a great fan of MF lenses initially having felt the pinch with the cost of Canon AF lenses.
I've reached the point where I'm well aware of the "it's not all about how sharp they are" aspect
and now have a fairly large collection of MF lenses, both modern and legacy.
I started by retrofitting them to my Canon 50D then gave up having discovered I could get
better results using them on my Fuji X-M1.
Favourites so far?
Takumar 50mm F1.4 (Super Takumar and Super Multicoated Takumar from the early 70s)
Zeiss Jena Sonnar 135mm F3.5
Leitz Summaron 35mm F3.5
Helios 44-M7
Helios 44-M (Biotar copy)
Voigtlander Nokton 40mm F1.4
Porst 55mm F1.2
Currently the Summaron sits on my Fuji most of the time, via a helical adapter that gives
a closer minimum focus distance.
