A35-70 f3.5-4,5 seem to works at f3.5 at 70mm. It's not propably as bright as f3.5 should be but definitely wider aperture than f4.5. Also doesn't take much penalty in sharpness.

Shocking, indeed! But I only have 8 lenses left in my M primes collection to shoot next year, so I need something else to shoot around September or October, if I want to keep shooting single in challenge. Bought a set from black friday this year, so I should be good till next years sale :D
At the moment it seems I'm mostly leaning towards M42, as the A lenses I really would like to have are too expensive for my use. If I did something else than post here on PF I might be able to justify the cost of say A*85 for example. But this zoom was in the price group I like :cool:

Got my first A, 35-70 f3,5-4,5 zoom, from black friday. Took my first spin with it this morning. Rendering looks nice, but not as sharp and vignettes more than the primes I'm used to. Bought it for 7,50€ to use for a month in Single In Challenge. I'm sure it will provide me its worth :D
