Very nice images! I always make sure I have "fine" sharpening dialed into the custom-image menu with all my camera bodies. With some, I also increase sharpening one notch above default, whatever that is, but with the 24mp KP I only added the "fine". I may try out adding one notch, but so far sharpness has been so good I have not bothered.
The K-S2 is no slouch for very nice JPEGs right out of the camera. It is now my extra-small, lightweight, and party camera. But the KP seems to be on a different level of quality, and for better metering as well as AF. For one thing, I have noticed better dynamic range, even wth JPEGs! More shadow detail, while still protecting highlights, yet still having very good contrast.

Great choice. I chose mine in silver as well. I would have gone for that deal offering the tiny 40mm lens too, except I already have the DA 40mm f2.8 LTD. Congrats, and I'm sure you will enjoy this very unique camera!
