Yes, they really are. Truth be told those are the l lenses that will primarily reside on both of those bodies.

No surprise here. :) Glad you like it, my KP will be in tomorrow where mine will reside just as my 16-85 resides on my K3II.

Keep us in the loop on how your first outing with it goes. Would be a perfect lens to bring to Iowa this summer!

I totally get this switching lens when you want to take photos is NO fun. You will love the 20-40.

As far things to do... Fulton windmill, field of dreams, all good things. 4th Street elevator in Dubuque is pretty cool also have the only greyhound track anymore in the Midwest is neat to see too in Dubuque as well. If you are into racing come on a Sunday afternoon and watch the dogs run it is fun too. Could also visit eagle point park in Dubuque as well as the one in Clinton right across the river from the Fulton windmill. In Moline, IL in the Quad Cities you could visit the John Deere pavilion too.

Sorry for all the ideas these are my stomping grounds... So I can advise places to eat etc.

You must be from the Clinton area to know! I hail from Dubuque but have family in Fulton and am very familiar with Clinton too.

Absolutely it is a VERY cool street. Have family in Verona, so I know enough to be dangerous, and being from eastern Iowa I do know the area a little. Anyways congrats on the new glass! Take a few photos and let us know how you like it!

You will love the 20-40. I think it will make you think twice about keeping the 21! Congrats, I am so happy you gave into LBA and took my advise.

Ever go shooting on State street in Madison...? The day I walked it, I wished I would have had a camera several years back.

Just giving ideas! The 21 is an excellent choice too. A nice wide but not too wide POV.

I second this! What a great piece of glass the 20-40 is. It is waiting for KP to arrive! It will likely be glued onto the KP too. It is like having 3 primes in one. I also have a 35 HD Limited Macro, the 15 HD Limited and a 55 * for my telephoto needs if I needed a three prime kit. I think the 20-40 will be on the KP a lot. Just like the 16-85 sits on my K3II a lot.

Having used my 15 as a walk around lens before I don't find it's field curvature too big of a deal, it equates to a 23mm lens which is nice and wide. Maybe not perfect for portraits and shots of people's faces but a useful wide and not fishy focal length. I could make a case for the 15mm as a better walk around.
