Normally the Sigma 24-135 is not known for a smooth bokeh, but have a look:

The Sigma Lens for a smooth bokeh should be the 35mm F1.4 Art.

Due to the lower weight and compactnis I like to use the Sigma 24-60 F2.8. The sharpness is very good, the bokeh okay:
