Thanks. I agree the Q is a great camera. I'm also considering a K-01.
Rocky is iconic in Philly. Originally the statue was put at the top of the stairs for filming Rocky III it was left there as a gift to the city by Stallone and it touched of a controversy of whether it was art or not. It was moved several times before finding it's current home in a grassy section to the right of the bottom of the stairs.

I recently went back east for my dad's funeral, I didn't want to pack my K-1 due to the size, so I opted for my Q7, and both my 02, and 06 zooms.
A couple of days after the funeral, I took a day trip to Philly. The Q handled itself admirably.

Thank you. In reality I only get a keeper rate of about 20% with the Q7 or Sony RX100 ii. I only wish I could bring my K-1 and good glass in to these places. I think my keeper rate would improve significantly. I was able to bring a camera in to the Stray Cats show last year, but the best lens I had to bring at the time was my Tamron 28-300 which is not the sharpest lens around. I've heard about the Panasonic Lumix fz 200 and fz300, and wonder if either of those would be an improvement.They certainly have better specs on paper and being a bridge camera would be easier to bring into a concert. But as money is a bit tight right now I'll have to wait to find out.

Thanks, the Hollywood Bowl shots were from about 250ft away from teh stage and artist. I'm impressed the Q7 and 06 telephoto did that well. the other shots are from much closer in a smaller venue.

I got the Q7 primarily for concerts. I used to use the RX-100 mk II, but found it didn't always have the reach I wanted for the distance I typically sat at the Hollywood Bowl.
